Licensing
Use MathJewels. Share what you discover.
Unlimited classroom use is welcome. Monetized commentary is welcome with credit. Selling or repackaging the materials is not.
The standard license
Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0
Except where noted, original MathJewels educational materials are licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0. You may copy, share, and adapt them for noncommercial purposes when you credit MathJewels.com, link to the license, and identify changes.
The boundary
Don’t sell the materials themselves.
No paid worksheet or answer-key collections, print-on-demand books, marketplace listings, commercial problem banks, paid downloads, or other repackaged products without written permission. Other than the classroom permission above, monetized commentary is the only commercial use allowed in advance.
Suggested credit
One clear line is enough.
Adapted from “Problem title,” MathJewels.com, [problem link] — CC BY-NC 4.0.
If you did not change the problem, omit “Adapted from.” Link the problem and license wherever the format allows.
What this covers
Original educational content.
Problem statements, MathJewels-created diagrams and illustrations, hints, explanations, solutions, and worksheets are covered unless noted. The MathJewels name and logo, site software, user submissions, and third-party material are not.
These classroom and commentary grants are additional permissions alongside the standard Creative Commons license.
For creators
Monetized commentary is okay.
You may show, discuss, explain, solve, or adapt MathJewels problems in ad-, sponsor-, subscription-, or platform-monetized blog posts, videos, podcasts, livestreams, and similar commentary. Clearly credit MathJewels.com, link to each original problem wherever the format allows, and say when you adapted it.
